BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team will hold its annual Blue and Orange Spring Game Saturday (April 13) at 5 p.m., at Bronco Stadium.

General admission tickets are $9, and gates will open at 4 p.m. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.

Parking is reserved in the West Stadium Lot, but is free on a first-come, first-serve basis in the remaining lots surrounding campus, including the East Stadium Lot beginning at 3 p.m.

The format for the game, which will include four eight-minute quarters, will match the offense against the defense, with the following scoring breakdown:

The offense will receive six points for a touchdown, three points for a field goal and one point per PAT.

The defense will receive six points for a touchdown, three points per turnover and fourth down stop, two points for a sack and one point for holding the offense to a field goal inside the red zone.

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's conference football schedule for the next four years was announced today by the Mountain West.  Dates and times will be announced at a later date.

Each of the 12 members of the league will play four home and four road conference games each season, and will play every Mountain West opponent home and away during each four-year cycle.  The conference only announced future schedules for the first four-year cycle (2013-16).

In 2013, the Broncos will host Air Force, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming at Bronco Stadium, and play Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State on the road.  The home and away sites will switch in 2014.

Boise State will not play Hawai'i, San Jose State and UNLV in 2013 or 2014.             

In the second part of the four-year cycle, Boise State will host Air Force, Hawai'i, New Mexico and Wyoming in 2015, and travel to Colorado State, San Jose State, UNLV and Utah State.  Again, the home and away sites will switch for the 2016 season.

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State University President Dr. Robert Kustra announced today (Dec. 31) that football and the majority of Boise State's athletic programs will remain in the Mountain West Conference.

"Mountain West presidents made it official earlier today when they accepted the terms of the agreement for Boise State to remain in the league."  

The Boise State football program was scheduled to join the Big East Conference on July 1, 2013, while the majority of its remaining athletic programs would join the Big West Conference on the same date.

But with the changes to conference membership around the country the past few months, Boise State has decided to remain in the Mountain West after lengthy discussions with league officials.

"Without question, conference affiliation has been an odyssey for Boise State, with all the unexpected turns and changes that term suggests," Boise State President Dr. Robert Kustra stated. "The benefits of geographic footprint, revenue, and national exposure have to be balanced against the changing circumstances of conference realignment.  I am confident that our Mountain West membership is the very best decision for Boise State University, our student-athletes and our incredible fan base." 

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Michael Frisina came up big for Boise State, kicking a 27-yard field goal with 1:16 left to give the No. 20 Broncos a 28-26 victory Saturday over Washington for their third MAACO Bowl Las Vegas trophy in a row.

Frisina made the winning kick after Washington had taken the lead for the first time on Travis Coons' 38-yard field goal. Boise State (11-2) sealed the win when Jeremy Ioane intercepted Keith Price's pass as the Huskies (7-6) neared midfield.

Boise State had to overcome a 205-yard rushing game by Bishop Sankey against a normally stingy Bronco defense. Sankey also had 74 yards receiving, giving him 279 of Washington's 447 yards from scrimmage. He was the MVP of the game, despite being on the losing side.

Frisina was 12 for 17 on field goals coming into the game, adding three on Saturday, including a 34-yarder to open the scoring that was his first field goal over 30 yards for the year.

Boise State, which outscored Utah and Arizona State 82-24 in its two previous Las Vegas Bowl wins, looked to be heading for a third straight blowout when Holden Huff scored on a 34-yard pass with 5:25 left in the second quarter for an 18-3 lead. But Sankey scored on a 26-yard run on Washington's next possession, and Price scrambled for another score with 3 seconds left to make it 18-17 at halftime.

The Broncos scored 118.7 to finish behind Northwestern with a (139) score and Northern Illinois with a (126.7) score.

Out of 62 schools to make the list in the six years of the report, Boise State is one of only two schools to be ranked each season and the only one to finish in the top 10 each year.

Boise State's average finish over the past six years has been 3.9.  The Broncos had back-to-back No. 2 rankings in 2010 and 2011, and finished fourth in 2007 and 2009.  Boise State placed eighth in 2008, the only time the Broncos were ranked outside the top five. View full list after the jump..
