Click to watch videoSee those two cars in the background, over the left shoulder of the talking head? They are in the process of crashing into one another, right there, live on the air. We're not sure what's more shocking, the crash or the reporter's reaction, which is to, well, stand there.

What's perhaps most interesting about this strange occurrence is that it points out the ridiculousness of many local TV news reports. Every day, reporters are sent out to stand in front of buildings to deliver live news reports about events that are not happening live.

Occasionally, as in this situation, some news actually does break out.
