C7 Corvette gets animated in speculative vid

AutoBlog: C7 Corvette gets animated in speculative vid

Click to watch videoThe redesign of the C7 Corvette, due to be unveiled early next year, is probably cloaked with more secrecy than Area 51. Despite that, information has trickled out since late last year.

Back in November, Jalopnik was the first to show the expected styling based on leaked information they obtained. Last month, we got another sneak peek at the face of the new Chevrolet Corvette thanks to an accidental web preview of the molding process for the front fascia. Based on the leaked information so far, and the Jalopnik images in particular, Trinity Animation produced a slick, detailed video showing what they believe the C7 will look like from all angles and in motion, right down to the LED running lights and Camaro-inspired taillamps. In the meantime, you can watch Trinity Animation's digital take on the next Vette in the video posted above..

This video will surely spark additional debate and speculation, but we'll all have to wait until we get closer to next year's Detroit Auto Show before we see our first official pictures - and, more importantly, detailed specs - about the C7.
