The IndyCar Series will appear on the Versus Network when the 2009 season begins, and the cable outlet will broadcast the first three races.

Versus, a Comcast subsidiary formerly known as the Outdoor Life Network, will broadcast 13 IndyCar races next season. Its 10-year contract calls for expanded programming, including three-hour race windows.

ABC will show five races, bunched in a seven-race stretch that includes Indianapolis (May 24), Milwaukee (May 31), Newton, Iowa, (June 21), Watkins Glen, N.Y., (July 5) and the series’ inaugural race in Toronto (July 12). Neither network has announced its broadcast team. View Schedule

BRONCOS MOVE UP TWO SPOTS IN BOTH NATIONAL POLLS

BOISE, Idaho – Despite not playing this past week in preparation for its game this Wednesday (Oct. 1) against Louisiana Tech University, the Boise State University football team moved up two places in the major college national polls on Sunday (Sept. 28).

The Broncos went from 19th to 17th in the Associated Press media poll, and from 20th to 18th in the USA Today Coaches poll. Boise State received 549 points from the media, and 446 from the coaches.

This past week has been challenging for us here at Gear 6 Performance.. Shortly after our last BSU game Saturday, September 25, 2008 Wayne's mom, Colleen, had emergency surgery. We lost her late tonight (Tues, 9.30.08) after a week long recovery struggle. She will be missed by all who knew her. At age 83, she was perhaps one of BSU's biggest fan of all. She was.. our fair-lady.

SPO 2771 left our shop today on its journey back home to Oregon.. it was a pleasure meeting Larry, Maggie & traveling companion Jake (a very large German Shepherd). We hope this gorgeous Superformance MKIII's upgraded engine, among other upgrades (see below) make it a truly sweet ride for its owner. View more images here in Image Gallery.

Upgrades.. 427 SR polished engine, install oil pressure line (image 1), install billet fuel filter, billet aluminum clutch reservoir (image 2), install Gear 6 alternator bracket, install & mount dash mirror (image 4), check & bleed brake system, change out front turn signal lenses, set ride height & 4 wheel alignment.

Gear 6 Performance: New MKIII Pricing

As a Superformance dealer, we've decided to counter the current economic scene by reducing our base roller price from $42,900 to $39,900 on all new and current MKIII inventory. While we realize other Superformance dealers may or may not offer a similar pricing structure publicly, we'd like to be on the record with our recent decision.

Our goal remains to offer customers like you the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of these vintage classics!
